It’s going to be tough.
But let’s try it and see how it goes.
Every week, we want Jay to copy and write some Chinese some diary articles.
The good thing about this is to practice and practice writing Chinese.
All these are short writings but all the words are common words.
This is a bit like sight words.
So, in our opinion, the more you write the more you familiar, the more you will write spontaneously.
In his last Assessment test, Jay complaint he has no time to do the comprehension in Chinese. And part of the reason is he writes too slow.
This is a book I bought from Taobao.
This is another book. The important thing is to let them get used to 抄写

Do it everyday. And hopefully he will benefits from it. He will not understand why. But soon, and in Secondary school, he shall know.
